The Sins of Thy Beloved:Perpetual Desolation
In 2 words:Absolutely Phantastic!!
TSOTB really managed to find an identity of theirs far away from the theater of tragedy profile.so here goes:the vocals are simply perfect!atmospherical,dark and evil...the guitar parts are masterfully performed throughout the whole album and so are the drums...the female vocals of Anita are simply enchanting and magical to behold....last but not least the keyb parts are bound perfectly with the whole thing!Generally speaking this is a must album for Black/atmospheric/goth metal fans
but it wont appeal to the rest of the mass....
not to mention that the album production is astounding...

Thyrfing :Urkraft
In two words:Where's my viking sword?
It seems thyrfing did it again...
Their new album is even better than the now mythical Valdr Galga!The viking spirit unleashes it self as soon as the "play" button is pressed.Fairytale like melodies combined with the Viking ferocity and aggressiveness is the best way to describe the music.The lyrics are well written and are describing in their own way the hatred towards christians and their faith while glorifiing the Viking dominion.....the vocals are as always astounding and the guitars are true killers!
The drums are masterfully performed by the drummer god and founder of the band J.Kristensson while the keyboards fill in the whole atmospere with magical viking melodies of the north.I was left motionless and jawdropped after listening to this baby!
A TRUE DIAMOND IN THE VIKING BLACK METAL SCENE!!
